The Courtesy Story

Like every great story, The Courtesy began on paper. Contrived from a daydream and buried in a list of inspired bar concepts, The Courtesy was created by owners and well-known wine and spirit industry veterans, Gene & Diana Zimmerman.

Hailing from extensive careers in the beverage industry with over 25 years of experience, the Zimmermans seized an opportunity to establish a quality local “big kids bar" in Downtown Orlando, bringing the elevated cocktail bar scene to the city.

The Courtesy opened as a cocktail bar in late summer 2012 serving the Orlando community in their downtown location for nearly 10 years.
On the heels of their 10-year anniversary, The Courtesy has expanded its experience by re-opening in a new location in the historic Winter Park, Florida.

It’s here where The Courtesy plans to evolve but remain steadfast in its mission that The Pleasure is Ours, The Courtesy is Yours.
